Monarch Butterfly from Cape May



We went to Cape May to go birding but were surprised and amazed at the number of butterflies. The fall migration of the monarchs is impressive.

    We saw lots of what looked to be monarch butterflies all over Hoboken and Jersey City Heights on Saturday! They really lifted the mood. I have never noticed anything close to that many butterflies in the area all at once before, and would love to know if there was a reason for it.
