Um, I hate to break it to you, but this is not a Peregrine falcon. It's an American Kestrel, one of the smallest types of falcons. :-) Note the orange-ish tail with the heavy bars across the tips of the tailfeathers. Also, the orange-tinted breast and barred outer tailfeathers say that this is an American Kestrel. Peregrine falcons are larger than kestrels and do not have orange-ish tailfeathers or breasts. Even though, they both have similar "mustaches" on their faces, these identifying marks can help you differentiate between the two.
